This is the house Where families meet To continue their lives, To eat and sleep, To find their strengths, And dry their tears, |
To look forward with hope to better years. This is the house That becomes their home. This is the house That love built. |

The Providence Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for families of children receiving treatment at local hospitals: primarily Women & Infants, Hasbro Children's and Bradley Hospitals. Families of pregnant women in need of prolonged hospitalization and families of premature infants are also welcome to the House. It is a place of warmth, comfort and friendship during times of great stress. The House is a private, non profit public charity, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and funded by generous donations from our community. The House opened in 1989 and since that time has provided temporary housing for nearly 5,000 from Rhode Island, Southeastern New England, as well as national and international locales. |
